Limble alternatives for small shops
Limble stopped showing its prices. Here is the last price it showed, what that comes to for your team, and what else is out there.
You may be here because you went to Limble's site to see a price and did not find one. Limble (limble.com, once limblecmms.com) is good software. It is also priced per person, and that adds up fast in a small shop.
This page shows the math. It also says when Limble is the right pick. One thing to know up front: we sell shop spreadsheets and a flat-price board of our own. The numbers are real either way.
What Limble costs now
Limble no longer shows prices on its site. It has a price tool instead. You fill it out to get a quote.
When Limble last showed prices, in March 2026, Standard was $28 a person a month. Premium+ was $69. Other sites say those were the prices billed by the year. By the month they were $33 and $79.
Limble does not list a free plan or a free trial now. Purchase orders and parts start at Premium+.
Checked Oct 16, 2026. Prices change, so ask Limble for a quote before you sign.
The math for your team
Now put your team in it. Say eight people need to log in. That is whoever runs the shift, two people who fix the machines, and the people who report problems.
Limble Standard, at its last price: 8 x $28 = $224 a month, or $264 if you pay by the month. That is $2,688 a year or more.
Limble Premium+, at its last price: 8 x $69 = $552 a month, or $632 if you pay by the month. That is $6,624 a year or more.
BreakdownBoard: $39 a month. That is for the whole shop, not each person.
When Limble is the right pick
Limble is a full maintenance system. It runs work orders and schedules. Premium+ adds parts and purchase orders. People who use it rate it well: 4.8 stars from 757 reviews on Capterra, with top marks for ease of use.
Need work orders and parts? Then pick a system like Limble and get a quote. Only need to log stops and see what they cost? Then you would pay for more than you use.
Other options for the small shop
These prices come from each company's own site, per person, per month, billed by the year. Checked Oct 16, 2026.
MaintainX: a free Basic plan. Then $20 for Essential and $65 for Premium. You need Premium to track parts. More on it in MaintainX alternatives.
UpKeep: $24 for Essential and $55 for Premium. No free plan, only a free trial.
Fiix: a free plan for a few users. Then $45 for Basic and $75 for Professional. More on it in Fiix alternatives.
FreeMaint: one flat price for the company. A free plan, and paid plans from $29 a month. We have not run it on a floor.
A good spreadsheet: $9 to $12 one time. Ours flag what is due and rank your stops by cost. It will not send alerts to phones. Want a number first? Try the free downtime cost calculator.
How to decide
- You need work orders and parts: get quotes from Limble and MaintainX, and count your real seats first.
- Two or three people will use it, with simple needs: start with a free plan, and know its limits.
- You need stops logged and Preventive maintenance kept up: a spreadsheet does it for $9 to $12.
- You want it on every phone, but per-person prices are too much: pick a flat price for the shop. FreeMaint is one. Ours is another, if you do not need work orders.
